I work on a lot of challenging horses and the things we ask of them do does take a toll, With the stress and strain of the discipline they compete at it is inevitable they will need therapy. Horses will never be able o compete at their maximum potential without balanced farriery great veterinary care and Kaycee's therapy! I know I cannot do it alone and payday is a perfect example! The challenge! Great job keeping payday going Kaycee! Kaycee works on many of my clients horses and I know they value her professionalism and ability! Your dedication, commitment and passion shows and in my opinion your background in human therapy as well as continuing education makes you stand out among others!
They say success happens when talent preparation and hard work meet! Keep up the good work
To be perfectly honest I believe Kaycee is Magic, Her drive to understand horses is unparalleled in my opinion, I feel blessed to know her and even more so to call her a trusted friend!!! She has my respect!!!!
During our visit to Diamond R, Annie began presenting with a very strange muscle
spasm in her right shoulder. She was acting her usual beautiful self. A very talented
equine massage therapist, Kaycee Wilen was on site. I hired her to do some body
work on Annie. Wow, wow, wow. She was so intuned to Annie, allowing her the
time Annie needed to process the fantastic work. Annie is a massage junkie now!
Halfway through her massage, just after she almost fell down, she laid down and
fell asleep!! It was amazing!! She is asleep and snoring with her nose in the arena
dirt in this photo. After a 20 min nap, she was ready for some more work. What a
great first experience to equine massage!! Thank you Kaycee!!
Kaycee just got done with our final session in the series. My horse has never looked more relaxed and had so many releases. I think she is his favorite person now. It's awesome watching her work and to see how the horse responds. Kaycee noticed during the first session that he had a lot of issues in his hind end. My horse didn't like her working back there but she went slow and worked with him. Each session you could see the changes in how he responded to different areas being worked. The last 2 sessions he was super relaxed and looked like he was really enjoying it. His movement is much better and his hind end issues have improved a lot. Will be getting her back in the Spring for a tune up.
Kaycee is amazing, she worked on two very complicated horses and we could not be more pleased with the results. She is knowledgeable, well prepared and kind and she took the time to explain what she was doing and let us know what we should do in the future. Snickers and Bo want you to come back soon.
If you want someone who speaks horse, contact Kaycee Wilen! The understanding and knowledge she has crafted towards helping horses is amazing. She has worked on numerous horses for me and has always been able to make them feel their best and fix any long term issues. She also has a calm and gentle nature where she can get close to any horse who is scared or in pain in a very short amount of time.
I can't say enough good things about Kaycee. She goes over and above to help my main endurance horse, Chloe, and I'm pretty sure with Kaycee's help she is having her best season yet. Chloe had some back/loin pain earlier this year, much related to some ovary issues which are now resolved, and Kaycee worked her magic to help even more. She was just here on Thursday for a 1.5 hour session which turned into almost 2.5 hours. She does not stop just because a time clock ticks - she works on my girl until Kaycee is satisfied she has done her best. Kaycee has also given me many tips on easy maintenance I can do in between sessions. Thanks, Kaycee, for helping my girl be the best she can be! :)
Kaycee has worked wonders on my horse, Jetta! Mid-summer, I was frustrated with how Jetta was acting. She didn't want to go in the arena at a barrel race, which was unlike her, she fought me when touching her ears and bridling her, to where I had to unhook the bridles and put on like a halter. Not to mention, she simply wasn't responding to what I wanted her to do. Normally, she is a well-behaved horse, so I could tell, she just seemed "off". I had friends tell me success stories from Kaycee, and I decided to give her a try, which was one of the best decisions I've ever done for my horse! Jetta has gained tons of weight and muscle, which was seen after session two! She is completely a different horse that runs through the gate, get's her butt under her when running, listens to leg ques, and drops her head to have me bridle her. Since getting her worked several times, each time, my horse gets spunkier, more energy and just becomes stronger. Jetta loves Kaycee and whinnys for her when she see's her! Kaycee is such a nice, personable individual, with a passion to get to know not only you as the owner, but more importantly, your horse. I could not be more happy with how my horse feels and acts, since I've met Kaycee! Thank you so much!
